Mr. Dean’s practice focuses on client matters in the areas of Income Tax Litigation, White Collar and Government Regulatory Litigation, and Commercial Litigation. He assists his clients in navigating and successfully resolving their federal tax disputes either administratively or through litigation. As an experienced tax attorney, he has provided counsel to numerous professionals including large corporations, small businesses, trusts, estates, and individuals.  He has assisted clients in transactional matters in all stages of tax disputes including IRS audits, IRS appeals, United States Tax Court, and United States District Court.  He also provides counsel in resolving white collar crime cases, including securities, tax, bankruptcy, bank fraud, and other Title 18 crimes.

Prior to joining the firm, Mr. Dean was an associate with a Dallas tax law firm.

Mr. Dean was a Law Clerk for the U.S. Department of Justice, Tax Division in 2019 and a Judicial Extern for The Honorable A. Joe Fish, U.S. District Court for the Northern District of Texas in 2016.

Mr. Dean was admitted to practice in Texas in 2018.
