Paul Zikmund, CFE, CRMA, GIAC, CBCP, CAMS is Senior Vice President, Chief Enterprise Risk, Compliance & Information Security Officer at Berkadia. Previously he was a director of global forensic, compliance, and integrity services at Baker Tilly. He has extensive experience in the development, implementation, and administration of fraud, compliance, ethics, security, enterprise risk, and crisis risk management programs and controls.
Zikmund has managed investigations of complex financial frauds, bribery, and corruption and other matters involving collaboration with external counsel and various government agencies. He has supported organizational leadership to design strategy and achieve business goals and objectives through strong risk and compliance management practices that contributed to sound and responsible business practices while maintaining the integrity of the organization.
Zikmund has developed and administered fraud awareness training to internal audit, management, and other company employees to empower organizations to detect red flags for fraud. He is an adjunct professor for several higher education institutions, including Rider University, LaSalle University, Carlow University, and the University of New Haven, specializing in fraud, forensic accounting, white-collar crime, security, and loss prevention.
