Michelle is the founder and President of Fowler & Company, LTD and has been working in banking and internal audit since 1990. Founded in 2001, Fowler & Company’s specialized focus is on internal audit, training, risk, internal controls, and compliance. Michelle is an engaging and highly rated speaker and author. Her diverse combination of Internal Audit training and consulting gives her a unique perspective and provides current “real world” experience.
Michelle holds the designations of Certified Public Accountant, Certified Internal Auditor, Certified Information Systems Auditor, and Certification in Risk Management. Michelle’s experience prior to Fowler & Company includes time in public accounting, including Deloitte, and working in internal audit shops in both the United States and the United Kingdom. She is active with the IIA and other not-for-profit organizations.
