Marc Chase
Partner, Team Leader, Private Equity
Marc Chase is the leader of Withum’s Private Equity Industry Team based out of the Firm’s New York office. With over 25 years of professional services experience specializing in private equity and venture capital space, he services a diverse mix of investment firms with equally diverse industry investment mandates, including industrial products, retail products, healthcare, technology, financial services and real estate. Marc has worked with inaugural funds, including the largest private equity institutions in the world. Marc provides pre and post-transaction guidance, advice and support to private equity investors at the fund and portfolio company level.
With a dynamic understanding and experience in the investment process, himself having been a private equity investor, Marc can work from the client-side of the table to deploy investment and operating level support services. A healthy portion of Marc’s knowledge was garnered while working for firms that service the private equity marketplace, including Associates First Capital, Ernst & Young LLP, RSM US, LLP and Bannockburn Global. Marc obtained his Bachelor of Science in Finance from St. John Fisher College in Rochester, NY and Master of Business Administration degree from The University of Texas at Dallas in Dallas, TX.
Marc has previously served as a Board Advisor or consultant to private equity fund-of-funds, venture capital funds, professional services firms, real estate private equity firms, private companies and as Board Member to various industry groups supporting the private equity industry.
