Brenda Jones

Brenda Jones began her career with Internal Revenue Service in 1991 as a Revenue Officer in Tulsa, Oklahoma.  Prior to joining the Service, she enjoyed a successful career in the Private Debt Collection industry after attending the University of Tulsa.  Her experience from the private sector fit nicely within Field Collection, and since joining the Service she has dedicated herself to public service. In July 2000, Brenda transitioned to the Property Appraisal & Liquidation Specialist program (PALS) which was created by the Restructuring and Reform Act of 1998.  Brenda was one of fourteen individuals selected to implement this legislatively mandated business unit. She became a Manager and led operations in the PALS program for the western half of the United States before moving on to a Senior Technical Analyst position and a detail to Collection Policy.  Brenda is a graduate of the 2009 class of the Senior Manager Readiness Program and brings well-rounded experience from the private sector, front-line management, and Collection Policy to her current senior leadership role.  Brenda currently leads the Seattle Territory in Northwest Area for Field Collection and manages operations across six states.
